Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Anatoliy Sveshnikov, an individual based in Israel who operates Vanga (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at info@vanga.chat.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Vanga application and website (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vanga is an AI chat application. It computes planetary positions from astronomical data (the Swiss Ephemeris) and uses an AI language model to write astrology-themed interpretations of your birth chart and current transits. The Vanga apps also include tarot-style reflection cards, which the app selects to suit the theme of your question, for entertainment. Vanga is provided for entertainment and self-reflection only. Its readings are interpretations, not predictions of future events. It does not offer spiritual or religious services and does not connect you with any astrologer, practitioner, or spiritual authority. “Vanga” is the name of the product and its AI assistant; it is not a person and is not affiliated with any real individual. Nothing in the Service is professional advice (financial, medical, legal, or psychological).

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to buy a subscription.

4. Plans, Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Open beta

The Service is free during the beta, and every account gets up to 20 messages a day. A message is one reply from Vanga, including the reply that opens a new conversation; the daily limit is counted over 24 hours from your first message. A separate limit of 60 messages per conversation applies to every account. We may change these limits.

4.2 iPhone app purchases

If you subscribe inside the Vanga iPhone app, Apple processes the purchase and your Apple ID is charged. Those subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in iOS Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions, and refunds are handled by Apple. Purchases are governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple Standard EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. By using the Service, you agree that, as between you and us, the Apple Standard EULA governs your use of the Vanga application on Apple devices, and that Apple has the right to enforce that EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
• Abuse the AI system by attempting to extract its system prompts or internal instructions.
• Submit birth data or personal information of others without their consent.
• Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.).

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of readings provided. Astronomical data is computed from the Swiss Ephemeris and is accurate to sub-arcsecond precision, but interpretations are generated by AI and should not be relied upon for major life decisions. Readings are offered for entertainment and self-reflection only. They are interpretations, not predictions, and carry no guarantee of any outcome. No part of the Service provides contact with a spiritual practitioner or authority.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on readings.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology in the Service are owned by us. Your conversations and notes belong to you. You can export your memories and natal chart data at any time (Settings → Data & Privacy → Export All Data) and request a copy of your conversation history at info@vanga.chat. You grant us a limited license to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination and Data Retention

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time: in the web app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or in the iPhone app under Settings → Privacy Controls → Delete All Data. Deletion permanently removes your natal chart, memories and journal entries and, on the web, your sign-in account. To delete your conversation history as well, email info@vanga.chat from the address on your account and we will delete it within 30 days.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation by contacting us at info@vanga.chat. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 60 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel. Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
